Icon is an annual journal published with the collection of final year project report memo of both final year BCT & BEX students of Paschimanchal Campus. The first Icon had around 150 copies printed which included final year projects and memo of BCT/074 batch . The Icon vol-6 had combined the final year project of both BCT/074 and BEX/074. It included a total of 23 projects in which 12 were from BCT and 11 were from BEX. Icon is all about giving the idea for the projects to the next batch students and enhancing the current final batch students to do better and prosper their thoughts on their projects.

Career Counselling

With the motive to inspire the generations of student in the Paschimanchal Campus, i-CES had organized a Career Counselling program with the help of guest speakers. Our speakers jhad talked about their in-hand experience in the real market and how to develop the abilities of students to be productive. This program was majorly targeted to fourth year students to know and understand the current trend and what follows as well as the new faces at Paschimanchal Campus too. To quote the program “Life is all about the 0s and the 1s. And their fluctuation.”

Code With Coffee Season 2

On the demand of student Ices organize a Tech-Parva which include (CODE WITH COFFEE):A one day coding competition where students are deemed to tackle coding problems in the language of their own choice within a specified duration.It give an opportunity for the participants to upgrade their skills as well as experience to a new version. (DATHTHON): This event is focused on the evolving field of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) especially solving data preprocessing. Participants of the event will get to learn how to process the data and will get to compete with others on the following days as a part of the event. A data set will be provided to participants on which they have to work on, analyze it and present their findings. (DESIGN THINKING): This includes a workshop and a competition on UI design. The event will focus on design concepts. The competition intends to provide a platform for designers to show their talent, communicate with each other and come up with their utmost creativity

Innovative Computer Engineering Students’ Society(i-CES) brings you the third season of code with coffee on 24th of Magh,2075.
It is a full day coding competition as a means to bring together developer, programmer, coder into a competitive environment to solve various algorithmic problem. Everyone who aspires to hack the solution are welcome to join the feast.

Format:
A team can be either solo or duo. It is your own choice for how you would like to participate.
Questions will range from beginner to advanced level and the points for the problem will be accordingly. All the major programming language will be supported for the event as that can be seen in various online judges. No team will be taken after the form has been closed.

Entry Fee: 150 for solo and 300 for Duo

Prizes: 3000 for Winner and 2000 for Runner Up as well as other exciting gift hampers

CodeCamp 2018

The mega event of the FSU technical festival “CodeCamp 2018” was successfully conducted through Ashad 2-4,2074 by i-CES in collaboration with COTS Nepal. It was national level event in which the participants were not only from Pokhara but also from the capital Kathmandu. It was a hackathon on the theme “Human Aid” in which the various eager teams submitted their ideas and only a handful of 12 ideas were selected. The participating 12 teams were required to present their demo ideas during the final day of event by coding on first two days under mentorship which was judged by very insightful people of our field. There were also various prizes under many theme won by many teams.

You will learn to build a web application using Node.JS, a javascript framework. You will also learn how to deploy your web app to Microsoft Azure for your friends to see!
